Disease State & Clinical Biologicals
Many human disease state biological specimens (e.g., cancer, diabetes, Alzheimer's, and endocrine disease) and panels that are critical for assays, method development, and comparative studies are available to meet your specific study applications. BioChemed Services can provide you with a large selection of analytes from which to choose.
We offer most in a variety of selections, such as specimens, panels, or sets. Both sets and panels can be drawn in anticoagulants and/or plasma/serum.
All specimens are collected under HIPAA guidelines. Informed consent and IRB (Institutional Review Board) are available in most cases; please inquire.
Much patient information can accompany each order. Please specify the information you require on each donor. We will do our best to provide this for you. All specimens are de-identified to preserve donor privacy.
A certificate of compliance is included with each order.
- Specimen – Individual bleed drawn from a donor. These can be collected in specific ranges. This gives you the flexibility of ordering as few or as many as you require.
- Set – A number of bleeds from an individual donor. You can obtain a variety of plasma and
sera in this manner from one donor.
- Panel – A number of specimens of varying titers, all from different donors. Methodologies for titer determination provided when values accompany the specimen. Panels usually cover specific ranges of values with no two values alike. This gives the investigator an assortment and balance unique to that panel.
